Review & swatches:Medora lipsticks

Medora is a local brand available nation wide.It is mainly famous for its lipsticks,the lipsticks are cheap but very well pigmented,color payoff is really good and lasts for hours.I have three of them, there is a wide range to select from...i have shade no 201,245, and 528.





My experience with them

The packaging is OK,actaully i don't have any issue with packaging cuz these are really cheap so i don't expect good packaging,I mostly own matte shades but shimmery ones can be found as well.lemme tell about about them one by one

shade 201(fiesta)

a beautiful bright pink matte shade.it lasted on my lips for good 3-4 hours.


shade245(verve)

matte deep brown shade appears maron on lips and lasting power is very good 3-4 hours on my lips .



shade 528(desert rose)

a nude pink with  shimmer and appears lovely on lips...can be use alone, instead of gloss or on any other lipstick as well..the lasting power of this shade is however less than others..it lasted 2 hours on me.


Reasons to have them

  • mostly matte shades
  • variety of shades to choose from 
  • cheap price
  • good pigmentation 
  • lasts up to hours(and after that leave a big spot on lips)
  •  doesn't melt in hot summer

reasons to leave them

  • some matte shades dry out the lips 
  • may shown the dry lines of lips

 I bought them in Rs.80 each and they are available nation wide.you can spot them at any cosmetic store.

    WOW!Finally a review on medora lipsticks! I was surpirised no one had ever raved a bout them, thankfully I came across this article. I love medora lipsticks, for their matte factor as well as price! thank you for doing this series! i m getting to know about soo many budget friendly lipstick brands that are easily available in pakistan! as a lipstick lover i want them all hahaha :)

    I have the fiesta one and it is so vibrant! Gives my lips an instant pop of pink, almost about to finish the whole lipstick hehe. Followed ya!

    there are shades number 708 , 247,228 these are pretty also. They dont have come with specific names but numbers :) thank you for this detailed and nice review
