Revlon Color burst Lip butter in Juicy Papaya~Review, photos&swatches
Hooola pretty girlz
Suddenly i noticed some serious change in chill at my part of world,i was like may be i am drinking milk these days so i am not shivering with cold anymore.....how silly i am...anyway then other family members added in my knowledge that strangely temperature has risen that's why chill factor is reduced...NO No i don't want summer too early(just think of load shedding here in Pakistan) but seasons have to change...laws of master nature~
Coming back to today's post, probably every one know about them, something between lip balm and lipstick as per reviews....what my thinking is...scroll down to read more~
Revlon says
Buttery balm and shiny color. Soft lips, irresistible colour:Part of revlon summer collection this is a new shade.
My Experience
This shade is new addition to Revlon Summer collection 2013 with three others ,they have been reviewed so much so without digging in to packaging details lets jump to the formula and shade. As per name what comes to mind is freshly opened papaya color....the bullet color is exactly like that though.I wanted a bright coral shade and according to reviews this was,but according to me it is a nude coral with lots of shimmer, more towards balm properties and sheer formula. The shade appears pale even on my fair skin tone and can look strange on dark skin tones.Yes i like the creamy moisturizing feeling on my lips but the non opaqueness and swiping many times to get any color to show is a down side for me.I actually were looking for both things moisturization with amazing coral color....It may be a choice for those who want sheer color with creamy moisturizing properties.Lasting time is the last to add this ,hardly 1 and half hour on my lips...my MUA lippies last longer than this 8 bucks lip butter.Yes i like the balm effect but wish it could have more pigmentation and last little longer, any way i am using it these days to keep my lips hydrated but in summers NO WAY.
SWATCHES
Reasons to have this
- moisturizing creamy formula
- nude coral shade glides smoothly on lips
- doesn't set in to fine lines
- sheer coverage
- you like gloss
Reasons to leave this
- pigmentation is issue
- staying time is hardly one hour
- too pricey
- can easily melt in humid days
would I Recommend?
If you are lipstick lover and want balm and lippie things together than go for some brighter shades as lighter ones seriously lack in pigmentation.
Price and Availability
They are available at superdrug.com in £7.99.
I got mine in an awesome deal,i pay only Rs.850 for this from Beauty Hub.
