If you are a beginner or looking for what to buy/invest in some basic makeup then surely this post is for you. When i was new in makeup some years back i faced the same difficulty in selecting what are the must things and where to buy them.In today's post i shall be focusing on basic but must have products that can create a flawless fresh face in just minutes. So lets start one by one.I shall be giving my suggestions in each category from drugstore to high end brands.

1.Makeup tools

If you are a beginner than these are must for you.Yes no makeup is completed without necessary tools. The basic tools you must have in your stash are
  • Blending sponge for stick or pan foundations
  • Eye makeup brush
  • Kabuki brush
  • Powder/blusher brush
You can easily spot them at any near cosmetic store. But do check the quality before buying and if you can afford then go for Real technique/Ecotools or Sigma.Other wise MUA offers some great bargain of brushes. The above three brushes are essential brushes. You can find all the brushes online at Just4girls.

2.Face primer

Either you have oily /combination or dry skin,a primer is must.Using a primer can give you more prepared skin for further application as compared to simple moisturizer. If you have oily skin than go for Benefit POREfessional. Its drug store version is MUA matte perfect face primer[dupe of porefessional] available at just4girls.If you have normal/dry skin than you can check Avon magic perfecter or Luscious whitening base.

3.Foundation/BB creams

Again i always say this thing that if you dont have problematic skin than avoid using foundations on regular basis.Go for BB creams. They are really good in giving coverage and reapairing the damage skin.
But for party/wedding purpose use a foundatrion as it adds glow to face.My recomendations for BB creams are
  • Etude house BB cream[Available nation wide]
  • Belleme BB cream for oily skin [Available online]
  • Maybelline BB cream for light coverage[Available nation wide]
For foundations
  • Color studio pro lumoinous foundation for light coverage[Available nation wide and online]
  • Essence stay all day long foundation [Available nation wide and online]
  • Essence mouse makeup foundation for oily skin[Available nation wide an online[
  • Bourjois 123 perfect foundation full coverage'[Available nation wide and online]
  • Kryolan TV stick for full coverage[Available nation wide and online]

4.Compact powder

If you have oily/combination skin than this is a must for you even in winters becoz in T zone can never remain matte.I suggest you invest in good one as it goes a long way. Also compact is use to set foundations for longer stay.
  • Rimmel stay matte powder[Available nation wide and online]
  • Maybelline fit me pressed powder for light coverage[Available nation wide and online]
  • sweet touch twin cake for light to medium coverage[Available nation wide]
  • Color studio matte perfection foundation for light to medium coverage[Available nation wide and online]

5.Highlighter

A must have, even you are new in makeup.Dont invest in high brands, you can choose some economical ones as well. But never skip a highlighter in your makeup.Apply on the cheek bone above the bluhser bone and see the difference
  • MUA undress me highlighter[Available only online at just4girls]
  • Essence I Love runway highlighter [Available nation wide and online]
  • Benefit beam highlighter[Available online]

6.Blusher/Bronzer

I  prefer blusher over bronzer.Invest in good blushers and apply them with Powder/blusher brush. You can also go for cream blushers if you have normal/dry skin.A blusher adds healthy glow and freshness to face,go for pinks/corals.
  • Sleek blushes[Available online]
  • MUA blushes[Available online]
  •  Maybelline blushers[Available nation wide and online]
  • MAC blushes[Available nation wide and online]
  • Illamasqua blushers[Available online]

7.Eye liner

Again a liner is must for eyes.It defines the eyes and pop them.Use Black/Brown liners depending on your choice.A good black /Brown liner should be in your stash.I prefer pencil or gel liners as they are easy to use but you can also go with liquid eye liner.
  • Luscious cat eye liner[Available nation wide and online]
  • Rimmel liquid eye liners[Available nation wide and online]
  • Essence gel liner[Available nation wide and online]
  • Catrice gel liner[Available nation wide and online]
  • Avon glimmerstick pencil eye liner[Available only online]

8.Mascara

If you think that you can skip mascara than think again,A mascara can change the whole eye look.It makes the lashes bigger and the eyes look bigger. In summers invest in water proof mascara and in winters normal mascara can done its job effectively. But throw away the mascara after 3 months as to avoid any eye infection.
  • Maybelline big lash mascara[Available nation wide and online]
  • Avon super shock mascara[Available online]
  • Essence get big lashes volume boost mascara[Available nation wide and online]
  • L'Oreal telescopic mascara [Available nation wide and online]

9..Lipsticks/Lip glosses

If you are a teenager than go for lip glosses.A lipstick can be heavy for young girls, again invest in good lip glosses and lipsticks.
  • Luscious lip glosses[Available nation wide and online]
  • Revlon lip butters are equally good as lip gloss[Available online]
  • Rimmel Apocalips[Available nation wide and online]
For lipsticks
  • Luscious lipsticks[Available nation wide and online]
  • Color studio lipsticks[Available nation wide and online]
  • Wet n Wild lipsticks[Available only online]
  • Rimmel Lipsticks[Available nation wide and online]
  • MAC lipsticks[Available nation wide and online]
I shall be doing a seperate post on eye shadows and the brands.
