I like to try new brands, L.A colors is a drugstore brand and most of the products are at dollar price.Back days i did a haul from beauty joint in which i also bought this shadows book.I actually wanted to try something from this brand,after going through reviews i decided to buy this,the edition i choose is Glam.The reason for going for glam was it has many shades as per web site.The other editions are smokey and natural.

What L.A colors says

My Experience

well i have mixed feelings about this book.lemme share with you in detail.When i ordered it ,i was very much excited about this book.The book appears so tempting on the site.It has 15 eye shadows,the  eye shadow comes in a plastic black packaging yes plastic packaging,and it is really awful.i dont like the packaging at all it is very cheap.The cover is of cardboard and has a rubber band for a closure ,the book has a guide too on the inner side which is indeed useful for the beginners.The shocking thing about this book is that it is very small in size.The eye shadows pans are really very tiny.
 The glam edition has vibrant colors,all the shades are shimmery,it has peachy,green and purple shades.shade 1is highlighter for brow bone.All the shades are super pigmented,no doubt that the pigmentation is commendable but each shade's pan is so small that it is equal to  sponge of mini applicator as you can see in the pic.It contains three families of shades,peach ,green and purple family.OK the book is great for traveling as it is palm size so it can fit anywhere in your bag.The serious concern is that the pan size is so Small that i don't think it would last longer.My peach shade has hit the pan....'sigh' ,overall it is good for the price,good for traveling and for this summer season as the shades are very much summery.

  • you like shimmery shades
  • shades are super pigmented
  • if you are a beginner in makeup
  • travel friendly
  • cheap price
  •  three editions to choose from

Reasons to leave 

  • The eye shades pans are  very small
  • don't like the packaging
  • don't like peach,greens and purples

I bought it from lush grooming bargains in Rs.575/-folks living abroad can purchase in $2.49 directly from beauty joint.com.

    Shafaq, I think the colors turned out nice on your eyes... however; I agree, I would need more than those small sample colors :)
