Christine Dual Action Cake makeup powder plus foundation~Review
Hoola my pretty dolls
Summer is in full swing and i am shifting to a new house in Islamabad,Tough days i must say,my little doll is energetic as always and i am down with this 45 degree heat.Well the product is also from my summer picks.I have combo skin that runs completely oily in summers so i stay away from foundations and bb creams as they melt down in minutes on my face.I was doing my usual grocery when i spotted this.Well how it is ?Scroll down to know
About Christine
Available locally this brand has so many great products like their lip liners and contour skict. The prices are very reasonable and affordable.
Shade selection
A serious problem when it comes to this cake powder is shade selection,I wear lighter shades but the shade name misguided and at the last i picked this medium cuz it was matching my skin tone very closely. The packaging is just too good, two compartments one with the sponge and other with the product and mirror.
My Experience
Powder has creamy silk texture,i fell in love with the smoothness as i swirled my fingers in it.the packaging is super duper awesome unlike many higher end brands with built in mirror too,so handy and travel friendly. The best application is only with the given sponge.I have also tried with the powder brush but didnt get the results.
Application is really easy, you can use powder on face to set your foundation or apply with wet sponge to get powder foundation on face.Well this does gives neat face and blurs my pores but didn't control any oil production on my face so after like 10-15 minutes oil on my t zone started to appear which i always don't like and after touch ups it looked cakey.I have used the product in both ways, have to control my hand while applying with wet sponge as it may look cakey. In both ways my t zone started to shine right after application.
Overall i don't find this product to be suitable for oily skin ladies but for normal ones this sure is a try in budget.
Price and Availability
Bought mine in Rs.300.This brand is available nation wide.
