Review:MUA lipstick in shade 16 Nectar(photos & swatch)

I am a lipstick lover,i love to write about lipsticks so today post is about MUA lipstick in shade 16..All the shades have numbers but MUA has two lipsticks that have names as well, shade 15 and 16.These two are raved so much.Shade 15 is a big disappointment for me.It doesn't suits my fair skin tone even.I will review shade 16 here only.I already have reviewed MUA lipsticks and talked about their packaging etc.You can read it HERE.

Girls, there is nothing better than lipstick. Apart from maybe lipstick that costs just £1! Ok definitely lipstick that costs just £1. Don't say we're not good to you. Our amazing lipsticks come in 16 shades from red to pink and nude and are packed full of pigmentation. With just one swipe you'll have fantastic colour pay off resulting in gorgeous lips! Why not pick a shade you've not tried before and get a new look? It is just £1 after all...did we already mention that?



 My  Experience   

Nectar is a beautiful coral peachy shade.The formula is creamy glides smoothly.It is more like a gloss in pigmentation rather than lipstick as it is sheer in coverage.One swipe gives you gloss like finish so you have to apply it 2 or 3 times to get color on lips.This shade is suitable to fair skin tones only as it may  cause face to look pale in dark skin tones.Personally i don't like it very much,it  is so tricky that if you don't use it with proper makeup than it may cause to look you sick.


The formula is very creamy so it may highlights the lines and dry patches on lips, lasting power is 1-2 hours so need to reapply it after that..Some reviews says that is a dupe of MAC hip hop,Well i am not sure about that as i don't own MAC one.

  • budget friendly
  •  can be use instead of gloss

 Reasons to leave this

  •  sheer in coverage
  •  lasting power is not so impressive
  •  may highlight lines and patches on lips 
  • doesn't suit dark skin tones
