MUA is the only drugstore brand that is coming up with lots of new products...i like this drugstore brand as the products are  pocket friendly and of  good quality..today i am reviewing the MUA pressed powder in shade2....well how my experience went with this?read more to find out...

What MUA has to say

Our amazing pressed powder is just £1 – OMG. Not only does it create a matte, perfect finish, it helps smooth skin and set foundation. It comes in four shades from light to dark so you’ll definitely find one to suit you! Grab a big powder brush and sweep it over the compact. Dust gently over the face to finish the look and keep foundation in place all day long!

My experience with this

well when i first saw it online i was like OMG it is just  £1.00.i was sure that i am gona buy it .this comes  in only four shades so yes this is a limitation..after reading many online reviews i bought it in shade 2(my skin closest match)...this presesed powder comes in a white plastic packaging....i was not expecting a good  packaging in this price but it is good, travel friendly and has 5.8 g of product which is enough.

The powder is very light weight and this shade matches my skin tone very well.it has a very smooth texture and blends effortlessly on skin...it claims to be mattifying which i dont find in it....probably due to extreme weather conditions here.It effectively sets foundation and also can be wear alone to give face a neat look. Its lasting power is 2-3 hours after which one  has to re apply.I was using it daily but unfortunately it broke me out...i had pimples in my forehead because of this...it clogged my pores so i stopped using it,after some time i again started to use it but again it broke me out...so now a days it is resting in my stash...may be i was using it in winters thats why it clogged my pores any way  in my opinion if it suits you it is really good and cheap too.it is not suitable for oily skin in summers as it doesn't mattify the skin but for winters it can be a option.

Reasons to have this

  • smooth texture
  •  budget friendly
  •  light weight
  • blends easily
  •  have normal skin type

 Reasons to leave this

  •  only 4 shades available
  • can clog pores
  •  have very oily skin (as it doesn't mattify)

My ratings

2.5/5,give it a try
