Red musk Eau de parfum by the body shop~Review & FOTD

you must be under the rock if do not  know  the extra grand launch of the body shop Eau de parfum "Red musk"(in case you missed it, read here)The launch was scandalous and trend setter  to upcoming lunch events in Islamabad.I was invited to and given a special protocol and a goodie bag full of body shop products.One of the products was The infamous red musk.Well lets see if this fragrance has got  the same level as of the launch event.


The body shop says


This extra ordinary scent "Red Musk" is a combination of natures very much claimed 'hotness' and 'graceful addiction'. The ingredients to Red Musk happen to be pepper, cinnamon and tobacco. Stunned to know this exuberant combination. Red Musk is not a typical feminism smell instead an identity manipulator. The fragrance redefines a women and provokes a more bold side of her. No flowers, no sugar, no coconut, no fruit, just warm spicy sexiness. Not every women desires to be smelled like a fruit and a flower. Red Musk by The Body Shop is perfect for the grown up us in all and by grown up it means a matured sophisticated side. The Body Shop more or less promoted women empowerment through this unique smell.


My thoughts

Well,I am openly  admitting that i am obsessed with  bold and sensual fragrances always ,Not every woman wants to smell like a flower or a cookie(;p)flowery fragrances are just not my type.Yes, i own many like Victoria secrets, etc they are the ones i least use.The  main reason of  the excitement was getting a strong fragrance(hubby is thanking me for not using his any more,btw he is also using this  :p)
When i first opened the bottle and tested it on my neck(i am again hopeless in this,cannot test on wrist don't know the reason) and from that minute  I knew it had to be the best till date .Its warm,spicy and sensual.It has a unique blend of cinnamon and tobacco that makes this baby sultry,just like the fragrance the bottle is also damn sexy,dual tone with red on top and yellowish from down.
 Did i tell you about the staying power of this?12 hours yessss,the fragrance stayed with  me straight 12 hours after that obviously i had to change or something but boy this is really a long lasting perfume.A special thing about this is its not gender linked,both genders can wear it.
 Overall, ,No flowers , no sugar, no fruit, just warm, spicy sexiness in a stylish bottle.

Sigma Spa mini Brush cleaning glove~Review

Brush cleaning always give me hard time due to my lazy nature but still  somehow manage to wash them atleast once a week,(i also wear full makeup once a week only :p) so i guess its perfectly fine.My trusty and easy method to wash all my brushes is to  just soak them in luke warm water already mix with baby shampoo ,mustard oil and drops of dettol ,rinse them after 20 minutes.Isn't this easy ,less time & effort consuming? Well coming back to today's review of sigma spa glove which i got in my welcome gift by sigma.A rave product of MUA's and bloggers to deep clean the brushes in no time.How is it in cleaning dirty several brushes?

My Thoughts

This is actually a mini version of sigma spa glove and unlike that its  not a glove only a plastic textured sheet in hand shape( dislike from me) .It has 5 textures wash,rinse,refine,rinse and then shape and every texture has different layers.This pinky looks appealing and handy but in actual its opposite.One has to rub the brush bristles number wise on the sheet to wash them as per instructions.The single sheet makes it difficult to place it anywhere whether  hand or in sink, all the patterns are having less space as compared to large brush sizes.I tried it once and  tell you honestly its was not easy to wash individual brushes with this,it took so long and also extra effort of hands to clean them properly.Yes the brushes were clean but i also gets the same results with my hands so no big deal.The rinse texture layer has  no use at all,  i had to rinse it under tap water to remove all the soap from them.The only good part like is the shape texture.Overall just a okish product for me with a senseless price tag for no reason.

Would I Recommend?

No way,the simple brush cleaning method  hardly takes 5 min to clean and this takes ages and  extra efforts too.

I couldn't find this particular product on sigma site may be   sold out but the whole range of sigma glove cleaners are available here  in range of 35-40$.

The one of a kind scandalous themed, fashion show brings together on one run way the promotion of one of the most classic fragrance ever by The Body Shop  - The daring RED MUSK featuring the trendiest and influentially bold “Arora” by Roma.
Break the rules and play the game! 

The event was well planned and executed by constatine PR,media bloggers and guests every one was excited and thrilled to see the exotic collection of aurora and the most awaited the spicy fragrance the red musk.





A distinct eye catching clothing line with scandalous look by "Arora" portrayed the image of the Red Musk amazingly well. The Red Musk fashion show was a roar from all those women who believe to exist out of bounds. Here it is that something, Wear your identity! Be your self! Be scandalous! Be red!










Scandalous themed ramp complimented Red Musk amazingly well. It can't be more apt.  "Arora" being the designer of the fashion show didn't disappoint any. The very chic cloth line exhibited through the very talented young models of Islamabad grabbed the attention of the enthusiastic audience. The showcased line amplified that attitude ; attitude being scandalous ! 
There were two music performances by Umair Jaswal and Maria Fatima Unera Qureshi. The very known and liked Umair Jaswal of Qayaas ( Pakistan's pioneer in progressive rock music) surprised the audience when he appeared down the catwalk singing( mention the song ). Even more of a surprise to catch Maria Fatima Unera Qureshi ; Nescafé Basement finest promising talent on the ramp with the models while she sang. Both the artist walked the ramp with grace and and were at ease while performing their very songs. 
The Music performance was not the only entertainment. Smash after smash, two dance performances beautifully done left the invitees in an awe. Taking them to an other world. Leaving them mesmerized and hypnotized. The invitees enjoyed it thoroughly and didn't miss a single move.

Red Musk Fashion Ramp was certainly a memorable event. The turn out was huge and commendable. Constantine PR is over whelmed by the amazing response.
Red Musk, Arora ,Faiza's, Umair Jaswal, Maria Fatima Unera Qureshi and dance performances were the ingredients in the ongoing saga of Constantine PR's constant  innovation management. 
The work done by Constantine PR was pure quality and the efforts put into every piece could be felt.

Loreal paris Elvive triple resist hair conditioner mask~Review

Many of you may know i have grey hair since my early teens,coloring them was my only option since then,in my teens i used heena but switched to  chemical Hair dying since 2 years.I am using L'Oreal hair dye range  and after testing almost all there locally  this one is finest.Once in three months is fine with me as enormous roots touching would damage  hair extra .But still the damage  of chemical dying was there in my hair and i was upset then after lot of desi totaks and oiling my hair twice a week i came to this conclusion that extreme care can prevent my hair from drying and falling against  after affects of coloring.

I have been eying this product,but finding it in local stores here in islamabad can be tricky as sales girls always track you down in stores and never show you what you ask them.So cutting the long story short i manged to get my hands on it.




How to use this

Apply on wet towel dried hair and leave for 15 min and then rinse with normal water.(Avoid roots,it leaves roots greasy and the hair may fall)

My thoughts



This product is from loreal Elvive range which i love and it's a  mask as per the label but frankly this is deep conditioner that  gives you soft and moisturized hair instantly.Their is huge difference in hair masks and conditioners.Conditiner are meant to lock the moisture while masks gives strength.

 Well i am using it once in a week from last month and absolutely loving it.My hair are naturally soft and silky straight just the chemicals had made them rough and this is joining  hands with me to bringing  them in  life.This  is a wonder in a jar.In short if you are facing dry and frizzy hair problem and routine  conditioner has failed to keep them frizz free try this and thank me then.


Overall a great product in affordable price tag!!!!

My Thoughts

To be honest,they didn't impress me .I ordered three shades after reading lots  of online review plus swatches,beloved ( pink),bliss( nude one with hint of pink) and lastly dare (a beautiful red with orange undertones). All of them have different finishing and pigmentation.Bliss has creamy texture and good pigmentation on lips,beloved needs to layer up again matte finish and on drying side,dare has matte finish and dry formula ,two layers gives opaqueness.This is one shade i like more but a i need a good lip balm underneath to keep my pout soft and cracks free

 I found these lippies having exact resemblance with MUA lipsticks in packaging,price and formulation too.Overall below average lipsticks for me.
